MOST BEAUTFUL WETERFALLS IN NUWARAELIYA
LOVER'S FALLS
Lover's leap water falls is a 98-foot falls located just out side the NuwaraEliya town, and is popula attraction fro thoes visiting the town. its source is the many streams that run off from the country's tallest mountain, piduruthalagala which stand like a sentinel over the towm of NuwaraEliya. the legend behind the name of love's leap water falls. states once a prince was lost while out hunthing and was resued by a whom he fell in love with. Reulising that the relationship would never last due to the unpopularty of it amongst his subjects, the amorous couple leapt to their death off the clirr at the head of the falls.
BOMBURU ELLlA FALLS
Height-30 meters
the beautiful bomburu ella falls (also know as perawella falls) a collection of about 10 little-known jungle waterfalls, siuated between 1500 and 2000m above sea leval in the sita Eliya kadapola forest reserve they are served by the upper segment of the principal tributary of the uma river, known as the duulagala river, the fall is the both the nuwara eliya and badulla districts uva paranagama divisonl sesretariat, in the pewalla GS area.

welimada-ousselawa rode, turn off ambagasdova junction and follow the pewalla bus rout. the rute then ascends and becomes a slightly perilous-looking winding track, with difficult boulders and jungel to negotiate, before the fall is reached.
SL CAIR'S FALLS
These falls are unusual type consisting of a double cascade derived from different water sources. The bigger waterfall, the Mahal Ella is 80m high and is situated on the Kotmale Oya. Flowing over a rock ledge then divides into three cascades plunging into a big pool.
The smaller one of these two falls, the Kuda Ella is only 50m high and situated on a tributary of the Kotmale Oya. Just 3Km from Talawakelle to visit the falls there is a 500m footpath starting from the A7.
NANUOYA FALLS
Situated at the highest point of the mountainous lush hill country – Nanuoya waterfall 60 meters in height (197 ft) of undulating waterfall consists of two sections is truly a magnificent sight for the traveler to the hill country by the Ceylon Government Railway.
RAMBODA FALLS
In the same location as above (at Ramboda Inn), there are about 5 waterfalls descending down to make the Kothmale river. One of them is “Poona Oya Ella Fall” which is actually a twin fall.
It is about 100m (330ft) and both falls about 4m away from each other. This is seen from A-5 road at 53km post and there is an observation site there.
